The Itinerary:
This 3-day, 2-night adventure will be nothing short of beauty, history, and experiences that abound as you explore some of the great things that Connecticut has to offer its guests. Though this is just a taste, you’ll go back home full of pleasant memories.
Day 1: Ride in luxury as your motor-coach whisks you away to Connecticut. The journey begins when you get a new perspective on the history of Southern New England and Long Island when your sightseeing is from the water. Later this afternoon, enjoy some free-time in Olde Mystick Village. This evening, enjoy dinner and then a welcome reception. (D)
Day 2: Start the day with some free-time in downtown Mystic. Then, enjoy an exciting guided tour where you’ll dive deep into the history and culture. Before heading to dinner, set sail once more. This evening will consist of dinner at the Gelston House and then an enchanting live performance at the Goodspeed Opera House. Here, you will be watching… (B, D)
Day 3: Head to Lyman Orchard’s Apple Barrel for breakfast. While there, you will have plenty of time to shop the store. This afternoon, reminisce on the days of old as you travel on the Essex Steam Train and Riverboat. Then, before heading home, enjoy dinner at the Griswold Inn. (B, D)
