Business Development (Sales): Custom Destinations is looking to fill the Business Development position. This position requires the employee to create, build, and maintain relationships with current clients, as well as those who are new or potentials to the Company. This individual will need to conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs. S/he will hold sales meetings with potential clients (as well as the current ones) to help build increased sales of trips. These sales meetings will promote the trips offered by Custom Destinations.
The successful candidate will need to have strong communication and negotiation skills. Experience in the field of sales is a must. This individual will need to be energetic and be able to create and apply an effective sales strategy to increase clientele and sales which will in turn help to grow the Company.
The pay in this position will begin as commission based, and is dependent upon the type of trip you sell. Each trip type has its own commission base. The individual who fills this position may eventually have the opportunity to become full-time and salaried.
The successful candidate will also have the optional opportunity to increase their income by providing self-taken photos to Custom Destinations (to be used in marketing materials).
